About us

Qullqi jewelry
Qullqi means "silver" in the Quechua language of Peru. Silver is the main precious metal that serves as basis for our jewelry.

Made in Peru
Every jewel that bears the Qullqi name is hand-crafted by silversmiths in Peru. Ever since 1000 BC, the peoples of the Lambayeque area excelled in making jewelery. The most famous examples are the jewelry of the Lord of Sipan. The roots of Qullqi are also in this region. Qullqi combines the craftsmanship of local jewelery makers with modern and contemporary designs.

Made for you
Because all Qullqi jewelry is made by hand, all our necklaces, earrings, bracelets and cufflinks are unique. They make the small differences in detail extra special. Our goal is to provide everyone with a Qullqi jewelry with an extra touch of strength, inspiration and pride.

Fairmined
Qullqi wants to make a positive impact on both people and the environment. To make sure that the silver used for the Qullqi jewelry comes from responsible mines, Qullqi is license holder of the Fairmined certificate. Fairmined certifies gold and silver from responsible craft and small-scale mining organizations that meet world-leading standards for responsible practices.

Social impact
We would like to give something back to the country where our roots lie. That is why part of our profit goes to supporting social and educational projects in Peru.
With the purchase of a Qullqi jewelry you become part of our story, a piece of history and a promising future for children in Peru.
Each jewel comes in a package made of recycled materials.
